Elliott was good after school today and enjoyed Street Dance, during which his team won. He had sausages and mash for lunch.
Activities
We went to Costa Coffee in Woodley for tea and to get changed for football training after Street Dance. Elliott had a ham and cheese toastie. Football training was good except right at the beginning Harry accidentally kicked the ball into Elliott's stomach and winded him and right at the end Elliott accidentally ran in to the goal post. After we got home he had a quick bath and then it was straight in to bed.

Science Museum
General
Elliott was much better today. He did pick his lips in the morning and made them bleed again just as they were getting better but other than that he was in good spirits today. And after that I made sure he was using his Lypsyl throughout the day.
Activities
In the morning we watched some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before Elliott did all his homework in one go, which was really good. His home learning this week has been making a tally of how many times he sees different birds and so we looked out the windows for different birds and filled in the tally chart (including some tallies for birds we'd see yesterday).
Then it was off to The Science Museum in London where we met up with Graham and Anthea Lannoy and Andrea (who had been visiting her Grandad). We started by looking at the space exhibition which included a life size replica of the moon landing vehicle that Elliott really liked. He also found a touch screen display that showed pictures of Mars which he was enjoying looking at. Then we went in to a room that had lots of cars, trains and planes from different eras which was interesting. After that we had a packed lunch with cheese and ham rolls:
After lunch we watched a 3D Imax show called "Under The Sea" in the Imax cinema there which was brilliant. It was very immersive to watch and it made us jump a couple of times but Elliott really enjoyed it and particularly liked wearing his 3D glasses. After the cinema we went to the Launch Pad section which has lots of activities for children. While we were there we also caught a 20 minute show about how rockets worked which really did include some controlled, small explosions to show everyone how hydrogen reacts with fire to fuel rockets. After a bit more time in the Launch Pad section we said our good byes and headed back home for pasta and sausages for tea. After tea it was bath time and then another chapter of his Jack Stalwart book before be time.

Panthers verses Dads
General
Elliott was a bit up and down today. At times he was really good, especially when we went to see Alice and Fi Read, but at other times he was a bit testy. He also has a bite on his arm which he was disproportionately upset about just before bed time.
Activities
In the morning before football Elliott was fine until it was time to get dressed and then he was a bit difficult about getting ready. However once we'd been to football he really enjoyed playing the Dads, although it was a shame there was no peer opposition to play. After football we dropped in to Decathlon on the way home and bought some new shin pads. For lunch we had Roast Pork and he ate quite well, including broccoli, but didn't finish his meat and was a bit sulky when asked to see if he could eat more - even though I tried to be light hearted about it.
After lunch we went to visit the Reads. When we first got there Jo and Alice were out at a concert so Elliott spent a long time playing with Fi and they got on really well. Fi was making balloon animals and then Elliott showed her Minecraft while Fi showed Elliott a bit of junior programming she was learning on a laptop. They also chased each other around and had a lot of fun. After Jo and Alice got home we had beef burgers for tea and then Elliott showed the girls his street dancing and they showed him their ballet dancing. He also almost sang to them but got a bit bashful at the last minute. After we got home it was bath time and then bed time and he read a bit of his Jack Stalwart book. Unfortunately he also got quite upset about his bite (on his wrist) after spotting it after his bath. Eventually I managed to get some Savlon cream on it and also some moisturiser on his dry shins but it wasn't easy and he was upset for a while. Fortunately by the time he went to bed he was much happier.

Ben 10 magazine
General
Elliott was really good after school today and was having lots of fun playing football when I went to pick him up.
Activities
On our way home we dropped in to Tescos and Elliott bought a Ben 10 magazine with some of his pocket money. After we got home he read the cartoon strip in his magazine and also did the word search in it. He had crackers for tea before bath time, some reading (a few sentences of his Ben 10 books that he'd taken to show and tell) and then bed time.

Street Dance
General
Elliott was really good after school today and said he'd had a good day at school.
Activities
There was a new teacher at swimming today (a man) and Elliott did a very good front crawl during the lesson. When we got home Elliott played with Lego and did the first 4 sentences of his homework really well. He had toast with ham and cheese for tea before we did some street dancing to songs from "now that's what I call a party". Then it was bath time and after his bath we read some of his school book about training for sports.
