Halloween trick or treating with Harry Higgins

General 

Elliott was mainly good today. At the end of the day he did get grumpy about not having done enough trick or treating when he had the opportunity but I think he was tired and he did cheer up before going to sleep. 

Activities

After I picked him up we drove down to Granny and Grandpa’s house in Downton. breakfast When we arrived we unpacked and then had crackers for lunch.

After lunch we drove to Durrington to see Matt, Lara, Harry and Bertie Higgins. Elliott and Harry played Fortnite together after we first arrived and then the boys had chicken nuggets, chips and (a few) peas for tea before going trick or treating around Durrington. Some people had made a lot of effort creating spooky houses and Elliott enjoyed walking around while skateboarding in his Marty McFly character:

He was a bit reticent to visit too many doors for sweets. After we got back to the Higgins house he and Harry had more fun together before we headed back to Downton. As soon as we got in he had a bath, got ready for bed and brushed his teeth before he became upset about not having visited enough doors for trick or treating. However he cheered up after he got his hot water bottle and then read  “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Getaway" by Jeff Kinney before going to sleep.

Cubing

General 

Elliott was good after school today and said he'd had a good day at school. 

Activities

After Homework Club we went home and he had crackers for tea. Then he played with his Rubix Cubes and disassembled and reassembled one of them. He had crackers for tea and then he had his bath, brushed his teeth and got ready for bed. He read more of his "The Wizards of Once: Twice Upon A Time" book by Cressida Cowell before going to sleep.

Clarinet lesson

General 

Elliott was good after school todayand said he'd had a good day at school. 

Activities

After school we went straight to his Clarinet lesson and he said he learned how to play higher notes better with his teacher who was back. Then we had ham sandwiches for tea and went to Costa Coffee before it was time for Whistling Woodwind with his same teacher. After Whistling Woodwind we went home, he had a bath, brushed his teeth and then got ready for bed. Before going to sleep he read more of his "The Wizards of Once: Twice Upon A Time" book by Cressida Cowell.

John Finnemore's Flying Visit

General 

Elliott was really good today. 

Activities

After breakfast we went to hockey training. This was really good this week and Elliott had some one to one coaching on hitting the ball and how to find space when he gets a pass. Then in the game at the end he played really well and put a lot of effort in and was trying to help the less experienced players get better. After hockey we headed home and he had a bath before having a hamburger for lunch.

After lunch he did some Clarinet practice and some cubing before we headed to Reading. We had tea in Starbucks in Reading and Elliott had a ham and cheese panini. Then we headed to The Hexagon to watch John Finnemore's Flying Visit which we both found very funny. After the show we headed straight home and Elliott went straight to bed after brushing his teeth due to it being later than normal bed time. He did read "The Wizards of Once: Twice Upon A Time" by Cressida Cowell for 5 minutes and then he went straight to sleep.

Adam Barker's party

General 

Elliott was very good today. 

Activities

In the morning he relaxed and played with his Rubix Cubes. He watched some videos about Fast and Furious films and he also practiced his Clarinet. Then he had a bath before lunch to get ready for the party. He had pasta with pepporoni sauce for lunch.

After lunch I dropped him at Adam Barker's house for the gaming party and also there were Charlie, Thomas and Kerry. He enjoyed playing various computer games including Fortnite and then they had pizza and cake for tea. After I picked him up we went home and he played with his Rubix Cubes again before getting ready for bed and brushing his teeth. He read more of "The Wizards of Once: Twice Upon A Time" book by Cressida Cowell before going to sleep.
