General
Elliott was good after school today. However he did get a bit upset after we first got home as he asked me to give him a spelling test (which he got 8 out of 12 for) and he then said he felt bad that he hadn't done better and that he didn't want to have to go in to special spelling group. We then looked at the words he got wrong and he got upset again and was giving up easily when he got them wrong again so I encouraged him, asked him to really try and concentrate and focus and told him that you have to keep trying to learn. He soon cheered up though (and got all the words right).
Activities
After school we went home and did Elliott's spelling test. Then he had luncheon meat sandwiches for tea before going to Whistling Woodwind at Emmbrook. Then he had a bath when he got back, brushed his teeth and was very excited about his birthday tomorrow. He read some more of "The Wizards Of Once" before going to sleep.
