Elliott was good today after WASMA choir practice.
Activities After a hectic pick up after WASMA choir practice (due to the amount of children from different schools) we went home and Elliott had ham sandwiches for tea. Then he had a bath and watched some more Doctor Who while he drank his bed time squash. Finally it was time for brushing teeth before he read some of his Doctor Who monster's guide book and then it was time for bed.
Elliott was good today after school and had sausages and mash for tea.
Activities We went home after school and he did some Clarinet practice, watched some Doctor Who, had luncheon meat rolls for tea and then got ready for football training. He did well in football training, although there was more messing around than in recent weeks, and they practiced throw ins and some 2 on 1 attacking. After training we went straight home and he had a quick bath, brushed his teeth, read some of his book about Doctor Who's enemies and then it was bed time.
After he woke up Elliott watched some Doctor Who, played with some Lego, had his breakfast and got ready for Hockey training. He enjoyed the aerial training in Hockey training but did wish he'd seen more of the ball in the game at the end. After Hockey training we headed home and he did his Maths homework before lunch (using a grid system to do large multiplication sums). Then we had luncheon meat sandwiches for lunch. After lunch he had a bath and then we watched some more Doctor Who. Then we researched Finland for home learning (human and geographical features) before we had sausages and rice for tea. Then he got ready for bed, had his bedtime squash, cleaned his teeth and read more of his Spy Dog school book.
Activities After we got home he played with his Doctor Who Lego and watched Doctor Who on the iPad. Then he had his bath and after brushing his teeth he read some of his Doctor Who dictionary before it was time to go to sleep.
Elliott was really good after school today. He'd had meatballs and spaghetti for lunch and had enjoyed WASMA choir practice.
Activities After school we drove home and he had toast for tea and watched some Doctor Who. The we headed out to collect his hockey stick and go to football training. Football training was really good this week. They all listened much more (until the end when I think they were getting a bit restless) and they did some good dribbling and shooting exercises. Then they had game and Elliott played really well and scored a goal. After football training we headed home for a quick bath, tooth brushing and then he finished reading his Star Wars school book before bed time.
Elliott was good after school today and had lasangne for lunch. He had a croaky voice but said his throat wasn't sore.
Activities After school we walked round to Harry and Jack Jenkins house and he enjoyed playing with them including a board game called "don't wake Dad". After we got home he had toast for tea before watching some Doctor Who. Then it was time for his bath and he read some of his Star Wars school book before brushing his teeth and going to sleep.
Elliott was good today. He said he'd had leek pie for lunch which he liked. He also said he was having problems learning decimal places as opposed to fractions but was going to keep trying.
Activities After hockey club we went to swimming where he said it was his weakest stroke "breast stroke", but he looked like he was doing well to me. After swimming he had a shower and put on his pyjamas and we headed home for toast and Doctor Who. Then he brushed his teeth and read some more Spy Dog before going to bed.
Elliott was good after school today. Before school he wasn't sure if he was going to try out for the hockey team, but he did and he is in a developers squad with other Year 4 boys. Mr Smaje was really pleased he tried out and made sure I knew he'd done well. They won't play matches for the school this year but they will do extra hockey sessions and Elliott says they'll be in match squads next year.
Activities After school and hockey club we went straight to swimming and he did really well. Then he had a shower and we headed home for some toast for tea followed by watching and then reading about Doctor Who. After he'd also read some of his Spy Dog school book he brushed his teeth and went to bed.
Elliott was good after school today. I saw Mr Smaje on my way to pick him up and asked about the hockey team and he encouraged me to encourage Elliott to try out as the tournament isn't at the weekend which he was worried about. So I mentioned it to him and he sounded keener, but still quite worried and not quite sure he wanted to try out.
Activities After school we went home and filmed a toy review of his Thunderbirds toys and his Tracy Island:
Then he got ready for football training, had some toast for tea and watched an episode of Doctor Who. Then it was time for football training and this week they practiced passing to cones before playing a game. He did well and scored a goal in the game but they were all quite silly at times and didn't always listen to Sally. After football we went straight home, he had a quick bath, read some more Spy Dog, brushed his teeth and then it was bed time.
After we got up we had breakfast at Andrea's Dad's house nd then headed to hockey. After hockey Elliott said he'd enjoyed himself again. Then we went to The Gig House in Wokingham for lunch with Andrea and he had another Hot Dog with chips for lunch. After lunch we went to Magnet Kitchens in Reading to look at kitchens and he was very well behaved. After that we headed home and he watched another episode of Doctor Who before having an early bath. After his bath he had sandwiches for tea, read some of his Spy Dog school book, brushed his teeth and then it was time for bed.
We had a lazy morning and Elliott played with his Doctor Who toys, watched some Doctor Who and read his Doctor Who books. We had a hot dog for lunch. After lunch we went to Bracknell Odeon to watch Fantastic Beasts and where to find them with Andrea. Elliott enjoyed the film and afterwards said his favourite bit was when they first saw the creatures in the suitcase. After the film we headed to Wokingham where he had a ham and pepperoni sandwich for tea from Subway. After we'd eaten we met Pete, Anna, Gus and Evan Anderson in Costa Coffee and Elliott had a lot of fun showing Gus (Elliott's age) and Evan (a couple of years younger) his Doctor Who book and playing with them. After an hour or so at Costa Coffee we said goodbye and headed to Andrea's Dad's house where Elliott got ready for bed as he was staying over there while Andrea and I went out to The Courtyard in Wokingham for a friend's birthday meal. He was really good and went to bed after brushing his teeth with no problems apparently.
Elliott was very after school today. He was very pleased with being star of the week and I gave him lots of praise.
Activities After school we went straight home and watched some Doctor Who. Then he played with his Lego Star Wars sets before we had toast for tea. Then he had his bath, watched some more Doctor Who, brushed his teeth, read some of his Doctor Who encyclopedia and went to bed.
We had a lazy morning and watched the Doctor Who Christmas special together before he played with Thunderbirds and Star Wars Lego toys. Then we had sausages, potatoes and broccoli for lunch. After lunch he read some of his book about Doctor Who monsters and we took some photos of him reading on the car bonnet for school as an unusual place to read:
Then we watched another episode of Doctor Who before leaving for swimming. He really enjoyed swimming again and after we got home we had some luncheon meat sandwiches for tea before watching more Doctor Who. Then he went up to his bedroom and read some more Doctor Who before bed time squash, brushing teeth and then, as he had a shower after swimming, time for bed.
