WASMA rehearsal

General 

Elliott was good after school today and had enjoyed the extended WASMA rehearsal. 

Activities

After WASMA rehearsal we headed home and he had ham sandwiches for tea before finishing off his respect animation (which is really good). Then he had his bath, brushed his teeth and his Skullduggery Pleasant school bookbefore bed time.

Bath

General 

Elliott was good after school today. He was a bit disappointed as the whole class have been asked to redo their hot task English stories about baddies as homework by Friday as Miss Allen didn't think they were very good, but he did cheer up and decided he was going to do a values animation as well about respect to show her. 

Activities

After school we headed home and he did his music theory homework. Then he had ham sandwiches for tea while we watched The Dengineers and he started his respect animation. Next we headed to Whistling Woodwind which he enjoyed and after we got home the new bath in the bathroom was finally usable so he had a bath and brushed his teeth. After he'd got ready for bed he read more of his Skullduggery Pleasant school book.

Penny board

General 

Elliott was good again today. 

Activities

After breakfast we headed to hockey practice and he did really well in the game at the end where he made some excellent runs up the wing as well as his normal solid defending. Tony made a point of saying he was good again today which was good to hear. After hockey we headed to the skatepark in Bracknell for an hour or so and he enjoyed practicing on his Star Wars penny board especially as the skatepark wasn't very busy. Then we went to Costa Coffee for lunch where he had a ham and cheese panini for lunch. 

After lunch we came home and checked if he had any homework on Study Ladder, but he didn't as they are concentrating on learning the play so we watched the end of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film on Netflix. Then he went out and practiced skate boarding some more before we headed to Loddon Valley leisure centre for a shower (as unfortunately there is a leak in the bathroom from the sink). After we got back from our shower he practiced his Clarinet and then we had Roast Chicken for tea and he ate quite a bit of broccoli with no complaints. After tea he wateched some iPad before brushing his teeth and reading his Skullduggery Pleasant school book before bed time.

John Lewis in Reading

General 

Elliott was really good today. 

Activities

After I picked Elliott up we went to ASDA to do some shopping and then went to Subway for lunch where Elliott had ham, pepporoni, salami and cheese in his roll. 

After lunch he made some new fingerboards while I did some chores and then we went to Reading with Andrea's Dad to help him look for a new computer in John Lewis. While we were there Elliott also looked at toys and we had a drink in the cafe there (he had millionaire shortbread and apple juice). After we got home he played his Clarinet for a while before having burgers, waffles and peas for tea. After tea he brushed his teeth and got ready for bed (because the new bathroom is still not finished we agreed he could wait until after hockey training tomorrow for a bath). Then he watched a bit of Liverpool verses West Brom in the FA Cup on television and went up to bed where he read his Skullduggery Pleasant school book before it was time to go to sleep.

Costa

General 

Elliott was very good after school today and seemed happier. He said he'd had a good day at school and enjoyed hockey. 

Activities

After hockey we went straight to swimming and he had a shower afterwards. Then we had tea at Costa in Tescos where he had a ham and cheese panini. After we got home he made a paper finger board and then brushed his teeth before reading some of his Doctor Who book out loud to me.

Goat crossing the road

General 

Elliott was really good after school today. He did get a bit upset after Clarinet Club as I told him off a bit for not getting ready for bed quickly. I think he's still a bit upset about the other night's pizza incident so was a bit sensitive but we had a chat and he cheered up. 

Activities

After school we went to Subway for tea and Elliott had ham, pepperoni and salami on Italian bread. Then we headed home and he practiced his skateboarding before it got dark. Then it was time to head off to Whistling Woodwind. After Whistling Woodwind we came home and I had to break quite hard during the journey to avoid a goat that was crossing the road. After we got home, as the bathroom still isn't finished, he brushed his teeth and got ready for bed without having a bath. He read some more of his Star Wars Annual and some more of Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone before it was time to go to sleep.

Star Wars skateboard clubs

General 

Elliott was really good today. 

Activities

After breakfast we heard that hockey had been cancelled because of the weather so he went outside and parcticed on his skateboard wrapped up in his coat. Then we headed off to Tescos to do some shopping and he had a ham and cheese panini from Costa for lunch. 

After lunch we went to visit Andrea's Dad and Graham and Jack Jenkins at Andrea's Dad's house. He had lots of fun with Jack. Then we headed home via St Crispins gym where we had a shower. When we got home he did his music theory homework and practiced his Clarinet and then we had spaghetti bolognese for tea. After tea he drew pictures of Star Wars characters in skateboard clubs before brushing his teeth and reading his Star Wars annual before bed time.

Peacock Farm

General 

Elliott was very good today. 

Activities

After breakfast we headed over to a skatepark in Braknell and Elliott did lots of practice on his skateboard and his scooter even though it was raining. He stayed off the ramps as they were slippy and just practiced on the concrete flat. After we'd finished at the skatepark we headed off to Peacock Farm for lunch and Elliott had a bacon cheeseburger and chips (and some peas from my meal). 

After lunch we went to St Crispins gym and he did some running on a treadmill, some cross training on the cross trainer and some cycling on the upright cycles. After we'd finished we both had a shower there (as our bathroom is out of action while being replaced). Then we headed home and he did his Study Ladder Maths homework. After his homework we watched Transformers: The Last Knight and had some ham sandwiches for tea. After the film had finished Elliott practiced his Clarinet and then got ready for bed. Then he read more of his Doctor Who book before bed time.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

General 

Elliott was really good after school today. He was very happy after school because he has now been given a comedy role in the play to go with his comedy role from last year. He did mention being told off last night but he seemed to understand why. 

Activities

After school we went to Subway for tea and he had ham, pepperoni and salami for tea. Then we headed home and he did some finger boarding and practiced his singing for the play. Then we watched some of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the film before practicing his Clarinet. After he'd played his Clarinet it was time for him to brush his teeth and get ready for bed (our bathroom is currently being re-done so our bath is out of action). Then he went to bed and read some of his Doctor Who book before bed time as he's left his Skullduggery Pleasant school book behind.

Borough News photos

General 

Elliott was upset after school today as he hadn't been given any part in the school play which must have been a mistake. He did say Miss Allen said they'd sort this out but after he plucked up the courage to audition and was hoping for a notable part he was really upset and it feels like it may have dented his confidence a bit. We talked a lot about resilience and using the disappointment as an opportunity to build up confidence in his own opinion of himself, but he understandably was worried forgetting him was a reflection on how his audition hadn't been very good. 

Activities

After school we headed to Loddon Valley Leisure Centre where Elliott got changed in to his swimming trunks and the Council photographer took pictures of him and 4 other childern in the swimming pool for the next edition of the Council "Borough News" magazine. After he'd been upset when I collected him from school this seemed to cheer him up and he looked like he enjoyed the session. After the photos he had a shower and then sandwiches, a croisant and hot chocolate for tea. Then we picked up his Clarinet and headed to Whistling Woodwind wher ehe also seemed to enjoy himself. On the way home after Whistling Woodwind in the car he was upset for a while again and after we got home he played with his finger boards before brushing his teeth and getting ready for bed. Before it was time for sleep he read more of his Darren Shan school book.

Swimming

General 

Elliott was good after school today. He said he enjoyed his Clarinet lesson. He is quite concerned about his Doctor's appointment on Thursday and seems to have already convinced himself an operation will be required on his privates so we talked about how that wouldn't be a bad thing if it was needed, but that we really don't know yet what the diagnosis might be and to try not to worry. He mentioned he'd talked to Miss Allen about his appointment today after talking to Mr Blay yesterday and it sounds like they both dealt with it very well. 

Activities

After school we went home for tea before swimming and Elliott had some toast and a fig roll. Then we went to swimming where he enjoyed his lesson and had a shower before coming home. After we got home he palyed with his toys to prepare for an animation. Then he cleaned his teeth before reading some of his new Darren Shan book before bed time.

Transformers: The Last Knight

General 

Elliott was really good today, especially when he had to go in to my work for an hour or so while I went to a meeting. He wasn't keen on having peas with his lunch but he did eat more than 10 after briefly complaining. 

Activities

After breakfast we went in to my work where I had a meeting. During the meeting Elliott was really good and read and drew and didn't disturb anyone. After the meeting we headed home via Sainsburys where we picked up some food shopping. When we got home we had sausages, waffles and peas for lunch while we watched the end of Robots. 

After lunch Elliott watched Transformers: The Last Knight while I did some work. After the film had finished he filmed some more of his vlog and then we had ham sandwiches and toast for tea with fig rolls for pudding. Next he had his bath quite early and brushed his teeth before playing his Clarinet. Then he watched some Kids You Tube on the iPad before reading more of his Doctor Who book and bed time.

Haircut

General 

Elliott was good again today.

Activities

After breakfast we Elliott started filming a vlog of his day and we headed out to Sol Joel park to do some scootering. It was a bit wet so he was careful and I watched and made sure but he took the opportunity to practice some tricks slowly and I filmed some of them for his vlog. After about an hour and a half of scootering we went for haircuts. Then on the way home we stopped at Sol Joel again as it was much dryer and Elliott did some more scootering. Then it was off home for a late lunch of crackers and ham sandwiches. 

After lunch he filmed some fingerboarding for his vlog and then we watched Robots. He had chicken and rice for tea and then after tea he had a bath, brushed his teeth and did played his Clarinet which he filmed for his vlog. Then he started editing the vlog before reaidng more of his Doctor Who book and going to sleep.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

General 

Elliott was really good today even though he was quite tired after yesterday's party.

Activities

In the morning we had a lazy time and watched Wreck It Ralph and the Christmas Doctor Who in pyjamas. Elliott made his own sandwiches for lunch. 

After lunch he practiced skate boarding again for a while and then drew a picture of The Flash. Then we went to Bracknell Cineworld to see Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle which was really good and Elliott enjoyed the film. After the cinema we went to Pizza Express for tea and Elliott had dough balls and pepporoni pizza (but no chocolate brownie as he'd had some M and Ms during the film). Then we came home and he had a bath and brushed his teeth before reading some of his Doctor Who book before giong to sleep.
