Clarinet practice

General 

Elliott was very good today.

Activities

After breakfast Elliott practiced his Clarinet qirh Grandpa for quite a long time and I think made some progress. The main challenge appears to he him counting the rests when he's not playing (so he knows when to come in) and also getting some of the rhythms more exact (as he's unfortunately learnt some of them a little wrong which is hard for him to unlearn so close to the exam). But he did really well and knuckled down. I'm still not sure if he'll be ready and I think maybe his teacher is the best person to decide after his lesson on Friday. After the Clarinet practice he watched some You Tube Marvel film theorising and played with toy figures. Then we had Roast Chicken and peas for lunch.

After lunch we packed and travelled back home via Smyths Toy Superstore in Salisbury where he bought some more Fortnite figures as Grandpa had given him some money. After we got home he unpacked and began planning a new animation before having hamburgers for tea.anny a After tea he had a bath, brushed his teeth, got ready for bed and read more of his school book "Hive The Overlord Protocol" before going to sleep.

Hawkedon Summer Fayre

General 

Elliott was really good today.

Activities

After breakfast Elliott practiced his Clarinet and then posed his Marvel figures before it was time to go to see Libby in her play. After he got back to the Hawkedon Fayre he enjoyed spending time with his friends. After the Fayre he had ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch and then we travelled down to Salisbury.

When we got to Salisbury we went to Smyths Toy Superstore and he bought a new Spiderman figure and a some Fortnite figures with his pockey money. Then we headed to the Sladens and he had a lot of fun seeing Charlie and Alice Sladen. While were there he had pepperoni pizza for tea. Then we headed to Granny and Grandpas house and he had a quick bath, brushed his teeth and got ready for bed. Finally he got in to bed and read more of his school book "Hive The Overlord Protocol" before going to sleep.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

General 

Elliott was very good after school today. 

Activities

After picking Elliott up from school we went to Asda and had hair cuts at Supercuts. Then we headed to the Showcase cinema in Winnersh to watch X-Men: Dark Phoenix which we both enjoyed. After the cinema we went to Cote in Wokingham and had tea with Andrea, Andrea's Dad and Barbara (Andrea's Dad's friend). Elliott had chicken breast and chips. After the meal we came home and he had a quick bath, brushed his teeth, got ready for bed and then read more of his school book "Hive The Overlord Protocol".

Elliott was really good after school today. 

Activities

Because Invasion Games was cancelled today I picked Elliott up straight after school and then we had to go back to my work for a meeting that had been booked before I realised Invasion Games had been cancelled. But he was really good and sat quietly and patiently waiting. Then we had to go back to school as he'd forgotten his Clarinet music and has the rehearsal tomorrow evening after his day at Forest School but fortunately he got in to his classroom through After School Club. After we got home he practiced his Clarinet and got a little frustrated but we talked about the growth mindset and then he tried again and was much happier. Then he watched some Lego Stop Motion animation on You Tube before having toast for tea. After tea he had a bath, brushed his teeth and then got ready for bed. Before he went to sleep he read more of his school book "Hive The Overlord Protocol".

Invasion Games

General 

Elliott was very good after school today. 

Activities

After Invasion Games we went home and Elliott practiced his Clarinet before watching You Tube clips about films. Then he had ham sandwiches and fig rolls for tea before his bath and brushing his teeth. When he was ready for be he read his school book "White Horse" before going to sleep.

Whistling Woodwind

General 

Elliott was very good after school today and was pleased he was doing sex relationship education at school (no questions yet).

Activities

After school we went home and Elliott played some Fortnite for the first time for a few days on the iPad before having ham sandwiches and fig rolls for tea. Then we headed to Whistling Woodwind which he really enjoyed. After we got home he had a very quick bath before brushing his teeth and then reading some of his school book "White Horse" before going to sleep.

Fathers Day

General 

Elliott was good today.

Activities

After breakfast we had a lazy morning and Elliott gave me a card and a Deadpool cap for Fathers Day which was very nice. Then we watched "X-Men: Days of Future Past". We had home made ham and cheese toasties for lunch.

After lunch he played with his new Blue Beetle toy and then we watched "Men In Black". We had hamburgers for tea and then he had his bath, brushed his teeth and got ready for bed. Then he read more of his school book "How To Train Your Dragon How To Betray A Dragon's Hero" by Cressida Cowell bebut told me he might change it for another book as he's not enjoying it. Finally it was time to go to sleep.

Detective Pikachu

General 

Elliott was really good today.

Activities

After breakfast Elliott had a bath before getting dressed and practicing his Clarinet. Then he brushed his teeth. Then he watched some toy reviews on his iPad and posed his Lego Minifigures and Transformers. We had ham sandwiches for lunch.

After lunch we picked up Jacke Jenkins and went to Bracknell to watch Detective Pikachu with him at the cinema. Both boys enjoyed the film and Elliott also used his pocket money to buy a DC Comics Blue Beetle action figure. After the film we dropped Jack Jenkins back, went home and had spaghetti bolgnese for tea. After tea he watched some film reviews on the iPad before brushing his teeth, getting ready for bed and reading more of his school book "How To Train Your Dragon How To Betray A Dragon's Hero" by Cressida Cowell before going to sleep.

Last Hawkedon Primary School disco

General 

Elliott was very good after school today. He also had an invitation to Sairam's birthday party at Goals on Sunday 23 June at 10am.

Activities

After we got home Elliott did his Clarinet practice, which was sounding good, before making a scene with Lego minifigures. He had ham sandwiches and toast for tea and then we headed to his last ever Hawkedon Primary School disco where he had a lot of fun. After the disco it was home and he brushed his teeth as soon as we got in before getting ready for bed. Then he reading some of his school book "How To Train Your Dragon How To Betray A Dragon's Hero" by Cressida Cowell before going to sleep.

Donkey Kong

General 

Elliott was really good after school today but unfortunately he left his Clarinet at school so couldn't do any practice.

Activities

After Invasion Games we went home and Elliott played on my old Nintendo Donkey Kong double screen pockey game which he enjoyed. Then he had spaghetti and meatballs for tea before having his bath and brushing his teeth. Finally he read more of his "Bah Humbug" book before going to sleep.

Clarinet

After Invasion Games we went home and Elliott played some Fortnite on the iPad. Then he had crackers for tea before his bath and brushing his teeth. Then he practiced his Clarinet and finally he read more of his "Bah Humbug" book before going to sleep.

Elliott was good after school today.

Activities

After school we went straight home and Elliott played some Fortnite on the iPad before having ham and cheese sandwiches for tea. After tea we went to Whistling Woodwind and then it was back home for a bath and teeth cleaning. After his bath Elliott got ready for bed and then read some of his "Bah Humbug" book before going to sleep.

The Wrong Trousers

General 

Elliott was really good today.

Activities

After I picked Elliott up we went home and had a lazy morning. He posed his Transformers, watched some toy reviews on the iPad and played some Fortnite. Then we headed in to Reading for lunch and he had a ham, pepperoni and salami Subway with cheese for lunch.

After lunch we went to The Hexagon for a Wallace and Gromit workshop and we made a Gromit each:

After the workshop we went to see a musical show in the theatre where the Picturehouse Orchestra played some pieces and then played along to a projection of "The Wrong Trousers". After the performance was over we had tea in Pizza Express and Elliott had dough balls and American pizza. When we got home Elliott did his Clarinet practice before having his bath, brushing his teeth and getting ready for bed. He read some of his "Bah Humbug" book by Michael Rosen before going to sleep.
