General
We did have a time out today for not eating properly at lunchtime. This actually escalated a little, but I held firm and eventually he gave in and said sorry. After that he was perfect.
Activities
In the morning we went to Salisbury and picked up some logs from a garden centre which he really enjoyed looking around. We also went to the big toy shop by Waitrose and he was very well behaved only "looking at things in his hands".
In the afternoon we went to the Playhouse to see Jack and the Beanstalk. It was really good, quite old school pantomime (no big stars) but really well done. He really enjoyed it and was totally engaged with it all the way through. He joined in with the shouting a little bit (less so than Fireman Sam or Thomas suspect) but he knew what was going on and afterwards talked lots about Jack, the giant and the fairy (the fairy was his favourite). He didn't seem scared and there were some pyros going off right in front of us when the fairy came on and the shouting did get pretty raucous (there were 3 schools in) so hopefully that bodes well for the big Mr Tumble panto. Anyway it was really good and he was brilliantly behaved, especially compared to lots of the school children in the row besides us who, despite being about 5 years older, apparently couldn't sit still for over 3 minutes!
