Captain Croc and Bluecoat Tony

General

Elliott was really good today.

Activities

After breakfast we booked into swimming and then sent to the amusements for a bit while we waited. Elliott discovered air hockey which he really enjoyed. We also found a driving game for little people which he really enjoyed. We then made our way to the swimming pool. Elliott really enjoyed this and we stayed in for the whole hour slot. He did some really good kicking with his arms spread behind him (with arm bands on) which he says you showed him, which is great. After swimming we went back to our chalet for lunch.

After lunch we went to the Fun Factory where Captain Croc was. He and the Bluecoats were teaching the children how to be super heroes. Elliott was a bit shy during this part, but when everyone went on a treasure hunt for the missing pieces of Captain Croc's cape he started joining in. After the cape had been found the Bluecoats then competed with each other in a series of challenges (dance off, etc) to see who the children would vote to be thrown in the swimming pool. In the end Tony was chosen and we followed him over to the pool and watched him get pushed in which Elliott found hilarious. After all this we went out the camp and had a look around the surrounding area, including a leisure park where Elliott had a go with a remote control speedboat. Finally we headed off to Burnham-On-Sea in the car and got some traditional fish and chips for tea (although Elliott had chicken nuggets!)
