Cycling at Ludgrove

General

Elliott was good for all of today, although we had sausage and mash for tea and for some reason he didn't eat his mash very well (or any peas at all). His cough still sounds quite bad so we skipped football but we did get some fresh air doing more cycling practice and he was wrapped up lots.

Activities

We had a lazy morning watching Lego Star Wars and playing with Lego Star Wars. After elevenses we went out to the private road by Ludgrove School and did some more adventurous cycling practice. This was really good and he was cycling over sleeping policemen and for long stretches. He did fall off once as he practiced trying to start cycling uphill but it was a very gentle fall at a standstill and he got straight up and got on with it.

After lunch we played with Hexbugs before starting his homework - this week's task is all about a café and adding up the value of different items so I think it combines Maths and learning about money. We did half of his words as well and he did really well at both tasks. After homework we popped round to Andrea's Mum and Dads where Harry and Jack Jenkins were visiting with their Dad and had some fun playing there and showing Harry his new light sabre. After a slightly frustrating tea he did bath, reading and bed time really well.
