Hair cut

Elliott was really good today. 

Activities

In the morning we had a lazy time until we headed in to Salisbury where we had lunch with Granny at Pizza Express:

He had dough balls, pasta burro and a chocolate brownie.

After lunch he had his hair cut and then we went to the music shop in Salisbury to get him some spare Clarinet reeds and an Abracadabra Clarinet learning book as requested by his teacher. Then we met up with Granny again, had a look round Smyths Toys Superstore (where he bought a Pokemon Ball and Pokemon with his saved pocket money) and then helped Granny with the shopping in Waitrose. Then we went back to Downton and he did the first part of his telling the time homework. This went really well after the first few challenges (he had to write the time shown by analogue clocks) but he was quite disparaging of his ability to start with (which turned out to be wrong as he knew what to do). Then we watched an episode of Pokemon together before having cheese on toast for tea again. After his bath he read some Harry Potter and then brushed his teeth before watching some more Pokemon on the iPad and going to sleep.
