Atlas Mountains

Elliott was very good today. 

Activities

In the morning we got up early to go a trp to the Atlas mountains. We were in a four by four car with a driver, guide and two Belgians. Our first stop was a fishing village on the way up to the mountains:

Then we stopped at a village where we had breakfast made for us by Berbers in a women's co-operative which was bread and honey dip all made in the village:

Then we stopped at various places along the way to a secluded lake, including a spring that led to a well used by nomads:

We also saw some banana and date plantations and drove through several villages. Then we got to the secluded lake where we went swimming:

After we'd been swimming we drove to a large sand dune:

Finally we dover to a large village where we had chicken tagine and bread for lunch in a berber home:

Then we drove back to the hotel.

Aftler we got back to the hotel we had a rest and then went to buffet dinner before watching the legends show (where the Animation Team danced to songs by legends.)
