General
Elliott was really good today.
Activities
On our way home after collecting him we nipped in to The Peel Centre in Braknell where we bought a Badminton set and a velcro catching set. After we got home Elliott practiced riding his bike, then we practiced Badminton, then he practiced roller-skating and finally we played with the velcro catch set. His roller- skating went well and after a while he was skating without me holding on to him. He went very slowly and carefully and was getting used to how it worked and his balance. He did fall over a few times but in a very controlled way and he practiced getting back up with his skates still on without any help. After all our outdoor activity we went in for a late lunch of honey toast.
After lunch he played with his toys and spent about an hour playing Minecraft on the iPad. We also talked about his pocket money and whether he can always have the things he wants (he was very good in The Peel Centre and just looked at the toys in Tescos). After I read something about it I asked if he was ok to save some of his pocket money every week, spend some of it if he wants to and save a little bit more each week for charity and he was receptive to the idea so we set up a jar for putting in the money for charity every week, his piggy bank for saving and his Batman wallet for the money he can spend now We're going to split it £2 for saving, £2.50 for spending and 50pm for charity. Then we went back out for more roller-skating practice with Andrea who used to roller-skate and he took things steadily again but grew in confidence. After roller-skating we had Chicken Fajitas for tea and watched Pocahontus before bath time and bed.
