General
Elliott was really good today.
Activities
After breakfast Elliott did some quick Clarinet practice and played with his finger boards before we headed off to hockey. He played well in hockey practice although some of the team were missing so they did quite a lot of basics with the smaller boys. We left hockey slightly early to get to WASMA rehearsals, which he was a little frustrated by, but he did get changed and get to WASMA rehearsal on time.
The actual WASMA concert was good I thought and I liked the positive messages about human friendship and co-operation this year. After the concert I collected him and he said he’d earned a values badge from Miss Savage for his patience and good beahaviour during the rehearsals and he was going to choose a respect badge. He also said he was sure that it was a good time to leave choir now and I reinforced that I didn’t mind (and I actually think he’s right that it’s a good time as he’s done the same concerts some years in a row now). Because the concert finished so late after we got home he just brushed his teeth, got ready for bed and read his The Constitine Curse school book for 10 minutes to unwind before going to sleep.
