The Puzzling Place

General

Elliott was really good today.

Activities

After breakfast we went to The Puzzling Place in Keswick, which is a Museum of Illusions and Elliott enjoyed looking at all the different types of illusion:

After an hour of illusion we wandered around Keswick and stopped for coffee before heading back to our holiday house for lunch. Elliott had ham and cheese rolls for lunch and a Yo-Yo Bear Fruit for pudding.

After lunch we headed back out and went to Keswick Brewery (near our holiday house) for a drink before going to Crow Park next to The Theatre By The Lake for three performances on an outdoor stage on a trailer called "Tralier Story". The first performance was "Who Cares" which was a narrative about 3 young carers still at school and how they have to care for their parent or sibling. The second peformance was "Resonate" a one man show with acting and dancing about how a previous hard partying young adult had calmed down after finding an unspecified faith. And the final peformance was a concert by Grace Savage a beatboxer using a loop station and a sampler (on an ironing board). Elliott enjoyed the beatboxing best but it was good to see live peformance again especially with the scenery around the trailer with stage:

We went in to the town between the second and third performance to get tea and Elliott had a cheese burger and chips. After the peformance we came home and Elliott brushed his teeth and got ready for bed and read more of "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" by Douglas Adams before going to sleep.
