Sleep
Elliott woke at about 6.30am.
He had a nap at 1.30pm for about an hour and a half.
He went to bed at 8.05pm, and was 5 minutes late as he asked for "just one more story" before switching the light out!
Food
Elliott had Special K oats flakes for breakfast.
He had fish fingers, toast and raisins for lunch.
For tea he had roast beef, roast potatoes, broccoli and carrots with a yoghurt pudding. He eat all the potatoes and most of the beef, but was not so keen on the broccoli and carrots, though I negotiated a mouthfull of broccoli with him by promising "yog pot" if he eat some.
For snackes he had a rich tea breakfast in the morning and some raisins not eaten at lunch time in the afternoon.
Toilet
Elliott had 1 "dirty" nappy in the morning.
When he had his nappy changed and before his bath I sat him on the big toilet with this seat. This time he did some wee before bath and then flushed the toilet so I praised him lots and made a fuss. As normal he looked at me as though I was mad, but I hope the message that it's good is getting through!
Naughtiness
He was well behaved all day with no need for a time out.
Activities
During the morning Elliott did 3 jigsaws, and again really was doing most of them on his own which was really impressive. We also did some alphabet and number recognition using some books he got for Christmas. There was also an episode of Fireman Sam, some Baby Mozart, playing with cars and banging away at a xylophone. Mid morning we went out to Fordingbridge to the park wrapped up warm. He did a lot of running around in the park (literally around the paddling pool fence), and did some sliding, roundabouting, swinging and a tentative bit of climbing.
After lunch and nap we went to visit the Sladens. He was really interacting with Charlie from the moment we arrived and knew who Charlie was when I told him we were going to see him earlier in the day. They both played with lots of Fireman Sam and Postman Pat toys (including some walke talkies) and Elliott had asked to bring along his balloon from yesterday's party pack which was a hit too. Charlie and Poppy now also have two "guinea piggies" so they got those out and showed them to Elliott. He was a little tentative at first, but he soon seemed fascinated by them, but didn't quite get all the way to touching or stroking them in the end. And later in the afternoon Popply played Elliott her violin which was very sweet and he seemed interested (for a minute or so) and definitely knew it was a violin.
The only other thing to say really is that Elliott had a few coughs and sneezes during the day, nothing that sounded too bad and certainly nothing that slowed him down, but I think he might be developing a cold.
