General
Elliott was good for most of today. He did have some moments during the day and after we'd got home he went to his room after being upset about not getting chocolate for a short period of time to calm down.
Activities
In the morning we were woken up in the tent by thunder. Elliott wasn't scared by this and I think found it quite exciting. Once the rain had stopped and we'd got up we went to Wallingford for breakfast where we found a pub and Elliott had American style pancakes. After breakfast we wandered around Wallingford for a bit and then we went to visit the railway centre in Didcot. Here there were lots of steam trains, an air raid shetler, some train style science hands on exhibits and lots to do. Unfortunately no steam trains were running today but we spent quite a while looking around and Elliott especially liked the hands on science exhibits. After the railway centre we went back to the camp site to pack up and Elliott helped deflate the air bed by jumping up and down on it and rolling on it. After we'd packed up we drove home for a late lunch.
After lunch we had a lazy afternoon unpacking, playing with lego an watching toy reviews on the iPad. Before bed we read Meg's Castle and he did really well while he was concentrating - he also seems to know quite a lot of basic words now without having to sound them out.
